The word "ERP" makes people think of million-dollar SAP rollouts. For a small or mid-size Syrian company, that is not the project.
Think in modules, not one big number
A right-sized ERP is a focused system covering the parts that actually hurt. We price and build one module at a time:
- Inventory and purchasing — usually the first module, because it removes the most pain.
- Sales, quotations and invoicing — often bundled with a point-of-sale screen.
- CRM — leads, follow-ups, pipeline.
- HR — attendance, payroll, leave.
- Accounting and reporting — the dashboard your finance team actually needs.
A single focused module typically starts in the mid four figures. Each additional module adds to that, but less than the first because the foundation is already there.
Custom vs Odoo
- Odoo is a strong base when your processes are close to standard. You pay for implementation, customisation, Arabic/RTL, local currency handling and hosting rather than building from zero.
- Custom is better when your workflow is unusual, or when the way you operate is a competitive advantage you do not want flattened into a template.

Phase it
The mistake is trying to replace everything at once. Start with the module that removes the biggest bottleneck. Get your team trained and using it within weeks. Then build the roadmap for the rest from what you have learned.
What you own
The system and the data are yours. That matters more than it sounds — plenty of businesses are locked into software they cannot export from or move away from. We do not build those.
