The Syrian Record

About this project

The Syrian Record (السجل السوري) is a large-scale documentary platform that organises publicly available sources, reports and testimonies about Syria's recent past. Codrex built the bilingual Arabic-first (RTL) and English interface, the structured content model behind People, Prisons, Massacres and Groups, an interactive historical timeline, and a fast faceted search over 2,000+ classified claims and 1,000+ events. Every claim carries its original source and a status — confirmed, disputed, alleged or under review — so the archive stays rigorous and auditable at scale.
